About Us

ACP Entertainment was founded in 2008 as mainly an inflatable rental company run out of a garage in Byron Center. Over the years, ACP has grown to be one of the largest entertainment companies in the State of Michigan servicing between 500-700 events each year including company picnics, school events, corporate events, college campus events, Christmas parties, senior all nighters, post proms, festivals and private events. Our experienced staff is eager to assist you in your next event!

Meet Our Leadership Team

Ryan

RYAN STRAYHORN

Founder and President
Ryan Started ACP Entertainment in 2008 as a DJ, balloon twister and with a few inflatables. Now his main roles are planning large events and oversee all operations. Since he founded the company, Ryan has an extreme passion for bringing new ideas to the table, innovating and continuing to advance ACP Entertainment in the entertainment industry. Ryan is definitely a bit of a workaholic, however he does take a break once in a while! In his free time he enjoys traveling with his Wife, camping and is also quite the Disney Parks buff. In fact, Ryan was trained by the Disney Institute which is a professional development course offered by the Walt Disney Company.
Andrew

ANDREW SUNDSTROM

General Manager

Andrew has been with ACP Entertainment since Fall of 2018 but is not new to the entertainment industry. He previously managed a family fun center for 12 years prior to working for ACP Entertainment. Andrew is responsible for making sure that the the entire company runs as smoothly as possible-and he does a great job at it! On his spare time, Andrew loves to spend time with his 2 kids and wife, go boating and coaching his kids sports teams. He’s a busy guy!

Rick

RICK STRAYHORN

Customer Relations Specialist

Rick has been with ACP Entertainment since day one. He is the father of Ryan (ACP’s founder) and has always been heavily involved. As the company grew and offered new services, Rick then moved on to manage Dad’s Classic Catering, a previous division of ACP Entertainment. Now he is the customer relations specialist at ACP Entertainment with the role of routing, scheduling and team member relations. Rick is now a retired teacher of over 15 years. On his spare time he enjoys camping and spending time with his family. Rick has the best spirit and attitude for helping and serving others!

Owen

Owen LaVigne

Operations Manager

Owen is a long time team member of ACP Entertainment and has climbed the ladder to the position of operations manager. Owen started with the company when he was 16 years old and worked full time, part time and seasonally through college. After college, Owen got married and moved out of town for a while and then returned to ACP Entertainment. What can we say, we’re irresistible! In his spare time, Owen likes to travel and spend time with his family.

Kristin

KRISTIN VANDERMEER

Event Planning Specialist

Kristin joined the team in January of 2022 and is typically the first team member you’ll speak with when calling in! Kristin is responsible for customer relations, planning events and human resources for our team. Kristin worked as a crew member at ACP Entertainment many years ago and was excited to come back full time working in the office. In her spare time, Kristin loves to spend time with her two kids and family along with spending time outdoors.
