ACP Entertainment provides the inflatable screen, projector, sound system, and a trained team member to operate the equipment. Our staff handles the setup and operation while you focus on your guests. Please note that ACP Entertainment does not provide movies or public performance licenses.

If you plan to host a public movie night, you should secure the proper movie license before your event. Most movies purchased online, through streaming services, or on DVD include licenses for private home use only. You may watch those movies with family and friends at home. However, schools, churches, parks, businesses, and other organizations often need additional licensing before showing a movie to the public.

How Do I Get a Movie License?

Most organizations obtain movie licenses through Swank Motion Pictures or Criterion USA. These companies represent many major movie studios and help organizations secure the proper rights for public showings.

Swank Motion Pictures represents studios such as Disney, Warner Bros., Lionsgate, Paramount, Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures, and DreamWorks. Criterion USA represents studios including 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures.

Do I Need a Movie License?

In most cases, yes. Public movie events often require licensing from the appropriate rights holder. Licensing fees vary based on the movie, audience size, and event type. Many organizations budget around $300 or more for licensing costs.

Your organization must obtain the license directly from the licensing company. ACP Entertainment cannot acquire movie licenses on behalf of customers. We recommend starting the licensing process at least 30 days before your event. This gives your organization enough time to complete the approval process before the event date.
