Winter events have a certain kind of magic. There are twinkling lights, festive decorations, warm drinks, seasonal music, and plenty of opportunities to get people together and enjoy the colder months.
But when you’re planning a winter event, it can be challenging to find an activity that really captures that feeling.
That’s where our synthetic ice skating comes in.
Ice skating is one of those activities that immediately feels like winter. It’s nostalgic, interactive, and fun to watch—even if you’re the person standing on the sidelines while everyone else tries to stay upright.
At ACP Entertainment, our synthetic ice skating rink gives event organizers a way to bring that experience to their guests without needing a traditional frozen ice rink.
What Makes Synthetic Ice Skating Different?
When you think of an ice skating rink, you probably picture a large frozen surface with refrigeration equipment keeping the ice cold.
ACP’s synthetic ice skating rink takes a different approach.
Synthetic ice is made from a specialized skating surface that allows participants to glide across it using ice skates without requiring a traditional frozen ice surface. That means an event can offer the experience of skating without having to create and maintain a refrigerated rink.
For event organizers, that can open up new possibilities for where and when skating can be part of an event.
Creating a Winter Experience with ACP
A skating rink can become more than just one attraction at your event. It can help set the tone for the entire experience.
Imagine walking into a winter event and seeing guests skating while holiday music plays in the background. Add seasonal decorations, lights, food, and other winter activities, and suddenly you’ve created an environment that feels completely different from an ordinary event.
ACP’s synthetic ice skating rink can be incorporated into a variety of winter events, including:
- Winter festivals
- Holiday celebrations
- Corporate events
- School events
- Church events
- Community events
- City events
You Don't Have to Be a Professional Skater
Let’s be honest: not everyone is going to step onto a skating rink and immediately look like an Olympic athlete.
That’s part of the fun.
You might have experienced skaters making their way around the rink while someone else carefully takes their first few steps. Some guests will spend most of their time skating, while others may give it a try before moving on to another part of the event.
Synthetic ice skating gives guests the opportunity to participate at their own comfort level.
It can be competitive, casual, nostalgic, or simply a chance to try something different!
A Unique Option for Michigan Winter Events
Michigan winters give event organizers plenty of opportunities to embrace the season. But outdoor winter activities can also come with unpredictable weather.
A synthetic ice rink provides another way to incorporate a classic winter activity into an event without relying on a naturally frozen surface.
Whether you’re planning a large community celebration or looking for something unique for a company or organization, ACP Entertainment’s synthetic ice skating rink can help turn an ordinary event space into a winter experience.
Make Your Next Winter Event One to Remember
The best event attractions are often the ones that get people involved.
A synthetic ice skating rink does exactly that. Guests can lace up their skates, step onto the rink, and become part of the experience instead of simply watching from the sidelines.
If you’re planning a winter event in Michigan, consider adding a little skating to the experience. ACP Entertainment’s synthetic ice skating rink brings a classic winter activity to your event in a unique and flexible way.
