This swing ride also brightly illuminates at night with bright and vibrant color changing LED’s. Due to it’s popular demand, in 2020 ACP Entertainment released an all new Ballistic, what we are calling Ballistic 2.0. This completely new swing has an all new paint color scheme and even more lights that are almost two times as bright as the first generation!

History and Facts Behind Swing Rides

The Ballistic Swing carnival ride is a more advanced version of a typical chain swing rides you may see at carnivals or amusement parks. The chair swing made it’s historical debut in the early 1900’s at an amusement park in California. The original swing rides were made with rope (instead of chains) hooked on to a bucket seat in which the rider sat in and held onto the ropes.

Over 100 years later, the chair swing lives on with many different versions of them popping up everywhere. Some of the newest chair swing rides have rigid supports to the seats so that each seat cannot spin or tip. The newer rigid supported seats, like our Ballistic swing, makes these swing rides safer and makes for new opportunities for these rides to perform new functions in future designs.
