Momentum Drop Tower is Michigan’s only portable high speed drop tower available for rental at special events. This 30 foot tall drop tower not only drops you faster than the speed of gravity, but also sends you flying upwards-it’s the best of both worlds! While this is only a 2 seat attraction, ride cycles are short and thrilling thus throughput is still fairly high with a throughput of about 120 riders per hour. Momentum drop tower also has a multitude of programs so the ride will vary every time you ride it! From slower programs for smaller kiddos to fast and exhilarating for the thrill seekers, there’s a ride profile for every participant.

Is Momentum a full size drop tower?
Momentum is not a traditional drop tower attraction, rather a drop tower amusement ride made for portable rental companies like ACP Entertainment. Drop towers at amusement parks can be anywhere from 80 feet tall to over 300 feet tall. Drop towers you’ll find at your local fair from a mobile carnival are around or a little under 100 feet. Our Momentum Drop Tower is 30 feet tall, however the ride not only drops you, it pulls you down faster than gravity. It also sends you soaring into the air-no boring slow lifts and a single drop. The ride’s 30 second programs are thrilling, exciting and action packed.
Can I provide power for the Momentum Drop Tower?
Momentum takes 3 phase power which is generally not available with the exception of large convention halls (like DeVos Place in Grand Rapids). We provide generators that have 3 phase power to power Momentum and our other attractions that require three phase power.
How much does it does it cost to rent Momentum?
We don’t display rental costs on our website because every event is unique and different and requires a unique quote for each event. The base rate is for 4 hours and then each additional hour is an additional cost. Contact our sales team for pricing and additional information.
Are operators provided?
Yes, all of our carnival ride rentals comes with operators to set up, operate and tear down our attractions.
What age groups is Momentum suitable for?
Momentum has a height requirement of 36″ and the maximum load per load is 600lbs. Momentum Drop Tower has 10 different unique 30 second programs that gives a unique ride experience for each set of riders. If the riders are young and nervous, the operator will choose a more mild ride experience. If the riders are proud, bold and and adventurous, the ride operator will choose a program that will blow their socks off and make them scream.
How far in advance should I book Momentum for my event?
Booking Momentum Drop Tower for your event, or any other one of our attractions is best done as soon as possible. We often book up 2-4 months in advance for Saturdays. Our Ferris Wheel, being the only rental-only Ferris Wheel in the state, is in high demand so do not delay in the planning and booking process.
