Frequently Asked Questions about the Velocity Super Slide
How many people can ride at once?
Velocity Super Slide can accommodate 3 riders at a time and about 9 riders per minute. That’s over 500 riders an hour!
Who can ride Velocity?
Velocity Super Slide has a height requirement of 42″. Kids under 42″ may not ride, even with an adult. All riders must be in their own lane and in their own potato sack-no double riders.
Do you provide potato sacks for sliding?
Yes, we provide all of the potato sacks for smooth, high throughput operation.
How much space is required for setup?
Please ensure we have a space that’s at least 35 feet tall, 40 feet wide and 110 feet deep. This leaves a small perimeter area as well.
Can the Velocity Super Slide be set up on grass, pavement, or indoors?
So long as the space allows for it and we can drive the slide in with a truck, the slide can go anywhere-indoors our outdoors. Just remember that the slide is a trailer that gets hooked up to a truck. We have to be able to drive in and position the slide with the truck wherever it goes.
Are operators included with the rental?
Operators for setup, operation and tear down are included in all of our carnival ride rentals.
Is the slide available for events outside of Michigan?
Generally, the Velocity Super Slide stays in Michigan. We do venture outside of the state to a neighboring state (except Ohio) every once in a while, but it’s fairly rare. Reach out to our team and ask if we may be available for your event!
What happens in the event of bad weather?
During rain, the slide does have to shut down. When the rain subsides, our team will dry off the slide and we can resume operations.
