Frequently Asked Questions about our Mechanical Shark
How does the mechanical shark ride compare to a mechanical bull?
The shark operates in the exact same way as a mechanical bull feature all of the same safety precautions. The only difference is what the rider sits on which is called the “attachment”. In this case, it’s a shark!
Is the mechanical shark safe for all ages?
All of our mechanical rodeo rides are manufactured by Galaxy Multi Rides, the safest mechanical bull manufacturer in the United States. Our mechanical rodeo rides have safety padding all around the motion base plus an inflatable that surrounds the motion base. The shark itself has a soft-foam head and a soft foam tail. The mechanical shark also has pre-made set programs that start with easy and work their way up to medium and hard (although 98% of the riders don’t make it past easy)
How much space is needed for a mechanical shark rental?
The inflatable for the mechanical shark is a 16′ wide circle plus the blower tube on the back of the inflatable. Then you have the operator position on the opposite side of the blower. All together, a 20×20 space should be adequate for the mechanical shark setup. A minimum ceiling height of 10 feet is required as well. For power, we need 2-110v/20 amp circuits to operate the shark ride. One circuit is for the blower and the other is for the mechanics of the ride.
Can the shark ride be used indoors or outdoors?
Yes the shark ride can be used indoors or out, just as long as the power and space requirements are met.
Do you deliver the mechanical shark outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan?
Yes! We deliver to the entire state of Michigan. Some areas have a certain minimum for us to service the area, however.
